Emergency First Aid at Work Level 3 (High Risk EFAW)
This course is intended for organisations that require emergency first aid cover, but operate in environments where the likelihood of severe bleeding or traumatic injury is higher. It includes the essential emergency first aid skills expected of a workplace first aider, while adding enhanced content for managing catastrophic bleeding incidents.
Learners practise rapid assessment and immediate actions that can reduce risk in the minutes before emergency services arrive. You will rehearse decision-making, communication, and practical techniques for bleeding control alongside CPR and AED awareness, choking, shock, and other core emergencies. The aim is confident, safe performance under pressure in higher-risk workplace settings.
