Ford Trucks Expands Service Network Across UK and Ireland
Ford Trucks has recently announced a significant expansion of its authorised service network, introducing new partnerships in both the UK and Ireland. This development aims to enhance support for operators and fleet managers by providing more accessible maintenance and repair services across key transportation routes.
Strengthening the Network
In the UK, Ford Trucks has collaborated with the Rygor Group, a company renowned for its aftersales care of commercial vehicles. Sean Joyce, Aftersales Director at Rygor Group, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, stating, "Rygor is renowned for its aftersales care of commercial vehicles and therefore it is a privilege to be able to support Ford Trucks’ customers in the United Kingdom, through our workshops. Across our business we have more than 200 exceptionally skilled vehicle technicians and we look forward to maintaining Ford Trucks, to maximize vehicle uptime for customers."
In Ireland, the expansion includes a partnership with Setanta Vehicle Sales North. Harry Nash, Managing Director of Setanta Group, commented, "We are delighted to collaborate with Ford Trucks. Setanta Trucks is fully equipped to provide breakdown assistance, recovery, parts, and service to Ford Trucks customers at four different locations in Ireland. This partnership will enable us to offer more comprehensive and efficient support to Ford Trucks customers."
Enhancing Customer Support
This strategic expansion is designed to offer better coverage for customers traveling on key routes through Western Europe. By increasing the number of service access points, Ford Trucks aims to optimize the total cost of ownership for customers by reducing downtime for maintenance and repairs.
Burak Hoşgören, Ford Trucks International Markets Director, emphasized the importance of this move, stating, "As Ford Trucks, we are very pleased to expand our service network in important markets in the United Kingdom and Ireland as part of our growth strategy in Europe. With this step, we will increase the access points of our services to our customers and ensure that Ford Trucks customers reach services faster and more easily in this busy transportation route of Western Europe."
Looking Ahead
The addition of these new service points brings Ford Trucks' network to seven locations in the UK and four in Ireland. This expansion not only reflects Ford Trucks' commitment to supporting its customers but also aligns with the company's broader strategy to strengthen its presence in key European markets.
For fleet operators and logistics companies, this development offers improved access to authorized service centers, ensuring that vehicles remain operational and efficient. As the transportation industry continues to evolve, such investments in service infrastructure are crucial for meeting the demands of modern logistics operations.
